True Vine Publishing Company reviews books for free. We accept both hard copy and electronic, but prefer electronic files. We do not return submissions so please send us a copy, not the original. In most cases, we will only read a few chapters, so a book synopsis would speed up the process for you. You can send all book submissions to Submissions@truevinepublishing.org

UNDERSTANDING THE TRUE VINE CONTRACTS
True Vine provides two (2) contract types:
Full Service or
Commission-based (aka Specialty Plans).
* Full Service Contracts include the full publisher's fee and allows you to print as many books as you choose. The reprint commission is set at $1.50 per book. It provides the author with greater marketing resources and advantages such as:
- Discounted advertising in the Vineyard Magalog
- Promotion in the company e-letter
- Interviewed on Author Talk for maximum book promotion (website get over 100 hits per week)
* Specialty Plans are perfect for individuals who are testing the waters or have limited budgets. These plans provide a predetermined number of services and books for a low flat fee. These plans are limited to 100-page or less books. Plans start as low at $500 up to $3,000. Commission rates are on 30% of an Agreed Retail Price (ARP). As a courtesy to the partner, authors are not bound to sell their books for the ARP--you may sell your book for more than the ARP. Specialty plans are limited in marketing resources, however. Any services outside of the regular Plan will be charged seperately at full price.
6. HOW DOES OUR PLAN DIFFER FROM OTHER COMPANIES?
* True Vine's plan differs from other plans by the printing/commission rate. Other companies entice you with cheap introductory fees (i.e. $399) and offer to sell the books to the author at a "40% Discount" off of the retail price. In other words, they are
CHARGING 60% OF A RETAIL PRICE THAT THEY SET. With True Vine, we charge what it costs to print the book + $1.50 or 30% of an Agreed Retail Price. See comparison below for a 100-page book.
